David Nice, MS, SPHR, consults in the fields of human resources and organization development (OD). His special areas of concentration are leadership & supervisory development, group & team facilitation, and performance management. David worked for the High Companies as their Corporate Manager of OD and Training. He served in a variety of training and HR roles before that for RR Donnelley. Mr. Nice has also taught part-time for Lebanon Valley College and Penn State-Lancaster. So, training, talent development, OD and HR have been David’s professional focus for over 25 years.

 

David has a BA in English from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, and an MS in Organization Development and Training from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He is currently a member of the Lancaster Higher Education Authority. He has served on various boards and committees for community-based organizations in Lancaster. He has managed and chaired successful political campaigns.

In his not-so-secret “other” life, Mr. Nice is a playwright. David is a current and founding member of the Lancaster Dramatists’ Platform which frequently offers public staged readings of new plays. David is a great fan of downtown Lancaster and proud of the cultural and artistic center that the city has become.  David has been married to Lilia Savitski Nice for nearly 40 years. They have 3 great adult children and two smart and funny granddaughters.
